In the summer of 2015, I was hired as an intern in the sports department at ABC Channel 7 in New York City.

As a member of the ABC sports team, my responsibilities included: 

• Logging and tracking games to be covered on the nightly broadcast
• Assisted with editing of the nightly highlights
• Joining cameramen on their daily assignments out in the field to cover games and events

Through my internship, I had the opportunity to cover several events, press conferences and games. One highlight of my internship was interviewing Yankees legends Mariano Rivera and Joe Torre at the Mariano Rivera Foundation celebrity golf tournament. Additionally, I covered several Yankees and Mets games and was credentialed to cover the 2015 NBA Draft for the station.
